Full Tilt Poker has been re-launched as a cash game destination above everything else, but as the resurrected operation slowly but surely reclaims its place in the online poker industry, its officials are shifting focus towards the tournament scene and now they have taken aim and the live qualifiers as well. In the past, Full Tilt Poker was always known as one of the best places to qualify to live events. Now, it’s aiming to resurrect that tradition. Live event qualifiers will be available through the year and players will be able to secure seats in some of the highest-profile live
poker tournaments world-over, like the UKIPT (UK and Ireland Poker Tour), the Eureka Poker Tour, the ANZPT (Australia New Zealand Poker Tour), and the Brazilian Series of Poker (BSOP).
According to Full Tilt Poker’s Sarne Lightman, the operation has always considered the live poker experience an integral part of its identity and it is now aiming to give poker players yet again a plethora of reasons to qualify to various events at the site.
Full Tilt’s live event packages will include a bunch of special parks in addition to the actual buy-ins. Players will be accommodated in luxury 5-star hotels, they will receive a Full Tilt player bag and they will have the VIP red carpet rolled out for them. Full Tilt’s live event qualifiers will also become eligible to an array of exclusive promotions.
A rather unique move on the part of the site is to enter online qualifiers into a Last Longer promotion, which will reward those who manage to outlast a set number of opponents in certain events with a set in the next edition of the same event.
The first few events Full Tilt Poker will offer qualifiers for are the Eureka’s Croatia stop, the ANZPT’s Queenstown Main Event and the BSOP’s Rio de Janeiro event.
