Full Tilt to Implement New Rewards Program

As its re-launch date draws near, Full Tilt Poker is keen on building up the hype through various announcements and details regarding diverse aspects of its operation. The latest news from the Full Tilt camp came through one of the usual channels: one of the popular
online poker forums where Shyam Markus, Full Tilt’s poker room manager posted a thread about the rewards system which Full Tilt intend to change after the re-launch. The new rewards system will apparently be a combination of Black Card, the Iron Man and the good-old affiliate paid rakeback. Unfortunately for those who used to like the existing status-quo, the changes will be rather ample.
The new system has apparently been worked out well before
PokerStars stepped in to purchase and thus to effectively bail out the operation. No actual details regarding the new reward-scheme have been made public yet, but it is generally understood that it will be available to everyone and that it will reward players weekly, based on the number of Full Tilt points they generate. According to the numbers floated, players will get $2.5 transferred to their Full Tilt accounts for every 100 Full Tilt Points they generate. That rate amounts to about 25% rakeback, which is indeed pretty much the equivalent of the deal Full Tilt used to offer.
According to Full Tilt officials, Black Card and Iron Man players will probably enjoy increased benefits with the new program.
The decision whether or not to implement the new setup has not been a haphazardly made one. At the end of the day though, those in charge decided that having a unified rewards program carried benefits which far outweighed its potential drawbacks.
