The final table got off to a hot start: it only took Guillaume Nolet, the first victim, 10 hands to bite the dust. First left crippled by Mukul Pahuja, Nolet got the last of his chips into the middle on a 9,4o. Jaffe was the one who stepped up to the plate, holding pocket rocket no less, which prevailed, and thus Nolet was sent packing, $83.6k in his pocket.
The next player to hit the rail was Sam Chartier, whose 5th place was worth $103.5k. Chartier was followed to the rail by Kevin MacPhee, who picked up $138.2k for his 4th spot. Mukul Pahuja’s elimination in 3rd place set up the heads-up stage of the action. Pahuja picked up $186.9k for his efforts. By the time the heads-up stage of the action began between Jaffe and Ratharam Sivagnanam, the former held a 3-1 chip advantage, but it would still take him some 81 hands to put his opponent away.
