New UKIPT PokerStars Tour Announced

Things keep getting better and better for UK and Ireland poker players; with the launch of a new PokerStars UK and Ireland Tour, better is even better than ever.
The brand new PokerStars UK and Ireland Poker Tour has gotten poker players across the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland talking and with good reason. The 9 stop tour will visit all across the two islands offering great poker at affordable prices, with great prizes to boot.
The first of the 9 stops of the UKIPT will take place in Galway Ireland from December 11th with the second being held in Manchester from February 11th. The full schedule as far as it is known is as follows:
Galway, IE: December 11th – 14th, Radisson Hotel.
Manchester, UK: February 11th – 14th, Grosvenor "G Casino".
Coventry, UK: April 8th – 11th, Grosvenor "G Casino".
Nottingham, UK: May 13th – 16th, Dusk Till Dawn.
Killarney, IE: June 24th – 27th, Gleneagles.
Brighton, UK: July 15th – 18th, Rendezvous.
Scotland: TBC.
Dublin, IE: September 9th – 12th, Burlington Hotel.
London, UK: October 1st – 10th, Hilton Metropole.
The buy-ins for the tournaments will range from £500 to £1000 or €1,000 to €2,000 with the exception of the Grand Final in London which will have a buy-in of £5,000. Each of the stops on the tour will be a self contained tournament; however there will be a leaders board over the whole tour the top scorers of which could be looking at PokerStars sponsorship for the second season of the UKIPT. All tournament winners will also earn a seat at the London grand Final and the top 100 scorers on the leaders board will get a seat in a special £10,000 freeroll.
