With the Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) slowly winding down at
PokerStars, one would’ve expected the cash game action to slow down a little over the week, but it didn’t. At Full Tilt Poker, all the regulars were at the tables playing away, some of them winning big, others losing big, but all of them playing big.
Alexander Kostritsyn had struggled quite a bit lately, before the run he put in this week that is, a run which saw him finish $547.8k above the red line, allowing him to clinch the “biggest winner of the week” title. Kostritsyn needed 4,041 hands spread over 37 different sessions to reach the above said number. Hac Dang had a good week too: he finished with a profit of $501.8k, having logged only 1,918 hands in 13 sessions.
Other players who finished among the winners were Chun Lei Zhou (who was $447k in the black) and Alex Luneau (who made the winners’ list for the second time in a row, to the tune of $446.8k). Phil Ivey finished in the black too.

While the week’s winners’ list was certainly impressive, the losers’ one wasn’t shabby either.
The biggest loser of the week was Viktor Blom, who ended up almost $1 million under the red line. More precisely, he dropped $950k, over 6,564 hands split among 49 different sessions. Another big loser was Elior Scion, but he didn’t even come close to Blom’s “performance”. He lost some $338.2k in 1,533 hands. Kyle Ray made the losers’ list too, as did Gus Hansen. Hansen dropped $204.3k this time in 5,563 hands.
