Online Poker Action - Blom Loses Big, Ivey Finally Wins

Viktor Blom has had a rather up-and-down year thus far, and in line with that, last week saw him finish with a profit of $355.3k at the nosebleed stakes cash tables. Also in line with the streaky evolution of his bankroll, this week he lost all that money back. He played some 1,873 hands spread over 10 different sessions, at the end of which, he found himself under the red line by about $339k. All this went down at
Full Tilt Poker and the loss was enough to make the Swede the biggest loser of the week once again.
Wherever there are losers, there have to be winners as well, and this week, the most profitable online cash game player (obviously from among those who have allowed their action to be tracked) was Phil Galfond. Galfond finished some $176.7k above the red line, having logged 396 hands over just one session. Like Blom, Galfond also played exclusively at Full Tilt Poker.

The cash game action raged on at PokerStars too: the biggest winner there was dougiedan678, who managed to amass some $130k in profits. He was followed by FastCarsss, who finished with a little more than $109k, being the only other player to have climbed over the $100k mark. The biggest loser was **Geka**555, who dropped some $149.5k.
Sunday, April 19, was Phil Ivey's day. The poker pro, who is among the biggest losers of the year thus far, finished as the biggest winner of the day, his bankroll close to $200k bigger when all was said and done. The one responsible for most of Ivey's Sunday profits was Mikael Thuritz.
