This week, the
high stakes online poker action was somewhat slower at PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker, but still enough money changed hands to grab some headlines. The biggest winner of the week was Sebastian Ruthenberg, who ended up with a profit of $628.5k, having logged only 6 sessions in 9 days.
The one who hogged most of the virtual lime-light was Viktor Blom though. The Swede had been struggling with a massive losing streak for an entire month, before turning things around big time this week: he ended up with a profit of $510.7k, having logged a mind-boggling 67 sessions totaling 7,474 hands.
Alexander Kostritsyn was also among the big winners. This time around, his profits totaled $404.6k for which he played some 8.4k hands, spread over 54 different sessions.
Daniel Cates joined the winners too: he took home $273k, while Isaac Haxton managed a rebound of his own, finishing $266.1k above the red line, after last week’s $173k loss.

While all the above said players had field days at the online tables, there were others who found the going much harder.
The going is pretty much always hard for Gus Hansen, and at this point it’s safe to say God only knows where he gets the money and the poise to go on. He finished the week as the biggest loser yet again, having dropped some $457.2k.
Other who made the losers’ list were Sanlker (who lose some $410k this time), Chun Lei Zhou (who dropped $183k) and Denoking (-$178k)
Over at
PokerStars, TrueTeller carried the torch for the losers: he lost some $170.5k, having logged 1,717 hands over 11 different sessions.
