Online Poker Action - Blom Wins More, Ivey Year's Biggest Loser

It's funny how the dice roll in the world of high stakes online poker: someone who's at the top of the world one moment can fall to the bottom of the cellar within weeks, while for others, it takes months and even years to dig themselves into a hole. Still others soar, then fall, but rebound wildly, claiming the year's biggest winner spot like Viktor Blom did a few weeks ago. That title now belongs to Phil Ivey though. Over the period mentioned above, which saw Blom accumulate more than $1 million in profits, Ivey lost some $761.4k, which means that so far this year, he's lost more than $1.6 million at PokerStars alone. On top of that, he's also dropped some $1.2 million at Full Tilt Poker, so the situation is indeed rather dire for him.
Ivey has lost so much that no one came even close to matching him in this respect: Jean Robert Bellande is the second biggest loser with losses totaling some $952k.
