The high stakes online poker player known as “Call_911” was the biggest loser last week. He dropped an astonishing $815.8k, but this week, he more than made up for those losses. This time around, he finished the biggest winner, $930.2k above the red line, so even if one subtracts his last week’s losses, he still finished with a decent little profit there. This week, he logged 3,838 hands spread over 29 different sessions.
Denoking finished well in the black too: he generated $922k+ in profits, through 3,777 hands, spread over 28 sessions. Other big winners were Kyle Fray (who added $778k to his bankroll) and Patrik Antonius (who finished $592k in the black).
MalACEsia finished with a handsome profit at
Full Tilt Poker too. Over at
PokerStars, Phil Galfond was the biggest winner; he pocketed $385.1k.
Viktor Blom was among the biggest losers of the week. The Swede dropped $942.2k, having logged 11.396 hands. Despite the massive meltdown, he still did not manage to snatch up the “biggest loser of the week” title. That “honor” went to proudlikeagoat, who surpassed the $1 million mark in losses. He dropped an awe-inspiring $1,022,271, after logging only 3,199 hands in 23 different sessions.
Blom’s week wasn’t a one-sided one though. In characteristic fashion, the Swede started out by adding about $1 million to his bankroll, before losing it all back.
A good part of Denoking’s profits came on Sunday, when he was one of no fewer than 7 players who managed to walk away with 6-figure profits from the
NL Holdem tables. Denoking’s profits shot past the $440k mark. Another player who won big on Sunday was Kyle Fray, who pocketed $402.3k. The player mostly responsible for those profits was none other than Gus Hansen, who finished among the losers himself.
