Despite the numerous live tournament opportunities popping up in various areas of the globe, the high stakes online cash game action was solid all through the week at
Full Tilt Poker. Most of the regulars saw action and a few of them managed to finish the week with $1 million+ profits. Ben Tollerene had had a tough time at the online tables for the last few weeks, but his slide finally was finally halted and eventually reversed in a rather spectacular manner. In fact, he was the one who finished the week with the largest
online poker profit: he finished more than $1.4 million above the red line. To log that impressive achievement, Tollerene played 8,977 hands, spread over 63 different sessions through the week.
The other big winner of the week was Hac Dang, who finished the said time-frame $1.2 million richer than he had begun it. He only logged 3,666 hands spread over 34 different sessions to pull off the heist.
Although the above said two players were by far the biggest winners, they weren’t the only ones to walk away with a profit. “no_Ola” for instance finished the week $531.8k above the red line. Jared Bleznick did well too: he finished with a $226.8k profit. Alexander Kostritsyn and Daniel Cates made the winners’ list as well. Cates was the biggest cash game winner at
PokerStars.
Wherever there are winners, there have to be losers as well. This week, the list of shame was topped by “samrostan” who dropped some $851.7k in 5,828 hands spread over 61 sessions. Phil Galfond fared little better: he dropped $772.2k. Kyle Hendon and Kyle Ray were both big losers as well. Patrik Antonius made the losers’ list too, albeit he “only” lost around $325k.
