Online poker action – DrugsOrMe on the upswing again

The mid-week
online poker action (spanning the period from Tuesday to Thursday) was pretty hot this week. Gus Hansen, the Great Dane who’s surprised the railbirds at
Full Tilt Poker with some more than profitable runs lately, was off the radar, but quite a few of the regular pros stepped up to the plate instead.
Ilari Sahamies was one of these pros, but the biggest winner of the mid-week action was DrugsOrMe who had lost quite a bit of the money he’d won a couple of weeks back, but came out well above the red line this time. David Oppenheim and Scott Palmer also logged big wins, while Di Dang continued to bleed money together with Jared Bleznick, Brian Townsend and tibster24.
Scott Palmer did well at the $200/$400 PLO tables, doubling through DrugsOrMe on one occasion. The hand started out with three players, but Iari Sahamies got out of the way early after the two other players made it clear they were going to stuff that pot as much as possible. As soon as the Finn got out of the hand though the two agreed the check it down all the way and they showed their cards: Palmer hit a top set on the flop. They ran the turn and the river twice, and Palmer ended up with the $33.5k whooper.
DrugsOrMe did pretty well at the 6-handed $200/$400 PLO tables though. He played 1,181 hands over the three days spanning the middle of the week, in nine separate sessions, booking an overall profit of $210.2k.
Luukie21 played Ilari Sahamies first at the $200/$400 PLO tables, then at the $500/$1,000 cap game. He ended up losing at both games. First he dropped $134k, then another $75k.
DrugsOrMe ended up the biggest winner of the week, while Di Dang finished with the biggest loss at $126k.
