Online poker action - Gus Hansen’s heater continues

Daniel Cates and Tom Dwan’s durrrr challenge session served as a wake-up call for many of the name Pros at
Full Tilt Poker’s nosebleeds stakes tables over the weekend. Di Dang saw plenty of action as well, logging 27 different sessions and totaling a rather impressive 2,993 hands, over which he generated a profit of $655,122. That profit was well enough to make him the biggest winner of the weekend.
IHateJuice represented the other end of the spectrum volume-wise. Coming off a couple of bad runs suffered at the hands of some of the Full Tilt regulars, he only played three different sessions, logging 641 hands. Considering the fact that he did end up with $345,880 profit, his play was much more efficient than Di Dang’s.
David Benefield was the biggest loser of the week. Saturday was positively abysmal for him and he probably still curses the moment when he decided to match skills with Patrik Antonius at the $500/$1,000 PLO tables. He dropped almost $400,000 to the Finn, and he followed that “performance” with a $240,000 loss at the $300/$600 PLO tables. Several other players joined the fray by that time, so it's safe to say that Benefield was responsible for many of the profitable balances drawn last week.
All in all, Benefield ended up a massive $716,970 under the red line.
Gus Hansen, the Great Dane who seems to have made peace with Lady Luck lately, was once again hard at work at the $200/$400 and $500/$1000 capped PLO tables. He once again managed to finish above the red line, by a handsome margin of $281,000. Most of that money came from DrugsOrMe whom the Dane took on at the $500/$1,000 stakes.
Clearly in excellent shape, Hansen even managed to take some money off the week's biggest winner, Di Dang, although the latter had his revenge later.
