Gus Hansen was last week’s biggest winner at
PokerStars’ online cash tables. This week, although we’ve had quite a slow period, Hansen managed to give most of that money right back. He dropped around $371k, becoming the biggest
online poker loser of the week. Ben Sulsky had an eerily similar week, although he didn’t lose nearly as much as Hansen did. Sulsky managed to take down a nice score last week, which allowed him to overtake ‘EireAbu’ on the year to date winners’ list. This week, he dropped $97.9k to give the lead right back.
The biggest winner of the week was a player known by the online moniker ‘mtvdeuem’, who accumulated $278k in profits. He played 137 different sessions totaling 5,697 hands for it. Alex Luneau was a big winner too, together with ‘wilhasha’. The two players registered profits of $228k and $153k respectively.
Rob Akery joined Gus Hansen on the losers’ list: he dropped $219.4k for the week. Sunday was an especially slow day, but fortunately there were a few players at the Fixed Limit Omaha and PLO tables who put in some effort. One of the players who saw action on Sunday was ‘madmags4’, who played Gus Hansen and ‘RaiseOnce’. At the end of the session which consisted of about 500 hands, madmags4 was the clear winner, about $62k in the black. While the haul failed to reach 6-figures, it was enough to make madmags4 the biggest winner of the day. Others who logged more or less significant profits on Sunday were Benny Spindler and GVOZDIKA55.
On Monday, Terje Augdal was the one who stole the headlines. Augdal employed a two-pronged attack, logging a session in the morning and then another one in the evening. Needless to say, he finished both sessions with a handsome profit: the morning one netted him $32k, while the evening one ended up giving him $90k more. Most of that money came from Gus Hansen and Ben Sulsky.
