Online Poker Action - Sahamies Loses Top Spot, Gets Nasty

For the better part of the current year, Ilari Sahamies was the most profitable cash game player (from among those who allow their action to be tracked, obviously). At one point, the Finn had more than $1 million to his name in profits, but that is a sort of a distant memory now: a few losing streaks have nibbled away at his bankroll and now Sahamies "only" has some $882.8k in profits for the year. The current leader is thusly JayP-AA with $912.4k.
Frustrated by the situation, Sahamies decided to log a few hands of $200/$400 PLO against Daniel Cates while in drunken stupor and he lost control, verbally berating his opponent, making himself look like a genuine scumbag in the process. Somehow we believe though that he simply doesn't give a wooden nickel on what the public's perception of him is.

With most of the staple names gone from the tables, Mikael Thuritz was the one who logged the biggest profits: he finished $247.6k above the red line, for which he logged 7,095 hands, spread over 47 different sessions. "flong78" won big at
PokerStars too, amassing some $125.7k, but he dropped about $40k of that at Full Tilt Poker. At Full Tilt, the biggest winner was Jean-Robert Bellande, with $121.4k.
The biggest loser of the week came from Full Tilt Poker too: Prahlad Friedman dropped some $134k to clinch this dubious title. "SlickEli" lost big at Full Tilt Poker too: he dropped $53.7k.
The biggest loser of the year thus far is Phil Ivey, under the red line by about $1.51 million. Viktor Blom is on the losers' list as well, with $614.1k.
