Online poker action – Scott Palmer soars

For the first time in several weeks, Gus Hansen failed to make the top of the
online poker winners’ list. He did play. He logged quite a few hands over the weekend but the profits failed to come this time: he ended up with a loss of $45k.
Instead of the Great Dane, it was Scott “UrNotInDanger2” Palmer who had Lady Luck’s support over the last couple of days. Palmer finished as the biggest winner, followed by Rami Boukai. Marcelo Marigliano ended up under the red line yet again.
Most of Palmer’s profits came from cadillac1944 at the $200/$400 PLO tables at
Full Tilt Poker. One of the biggest pots Palmer pocketed was a $104k monster, for which he made quad 3s to beat cadillac1944’s turned A-high straight. Only a few minutes later, Palmer added insult to injury by taking another $26 pot. This time, he made a two pair and managed to fade all of his opponent’s outs for the win. Scott Palmer eventually ended the last few days with a $341k profit.
Boukai made his money off Marigliano. The scene was a $300/$600 PLO table, where the two players clashed heads-up. the biggest pot of their session was a slightly larger than $100k monster, which – of course – ended up in Boukai’s possession. Boukai was the one who kicked off the action through a $1,200 bet preflop. Marigliano made the call and the flop fell As,Jd,4h. Marigliano checked and Boukai poured on some more pressure through a $1,800 bet. Marigliano then raised it to $8,000 and Boukai made the call. The 9d fell on the turn and Marigliano bet $14,400. Boukai made the call to see the 3s land on the river. The money went all in on both sides and Boukai showed a wheel for the win.
Besides Marigliano, Finnishnightmr and superbaldas finished well under the red line too.
