Online Poker Action – Tollerene Closes Gap

The race for the biggest online poker winner of the year is definitely heating up as Full Tilt Poker’s re-launch date draws near. Ben Tollerene and Ben Sulsky are the two players jockeying for the top spot right now, but there are others who may well find themselves in the mix too after a more successful week.
Even though Sulsky is the current leader, Tollerene made a huge leap towards the top this week, by finishing with a $155k profit. While his haul was dwarfed by that of the week’s biggest winner, Chung ho, who pocketed $470.2k, it was a significant one nonetheless.
The biggest loser of the week was yet again Patpatman, who dropped $465.8k to follow up another dismal performance which saw him shed $654.5k the week before.
Odd_Oddsen and Ben Sulsky made the losers’ list as well.

On Friday, the PLO tables were red-hot, with players like Jens Kyllonen, Gus Hansen, Ben Tollerene and Phil Galfond taking part in the action.
The biggest pot of the day was a $66,441 one, which saw no fewer than 6 players push money in the middle. Three of them called it all the way to showdown, as the money eventually came to rest on Jens Kyllonen’s side of the table.
The second biggest pot, a $64,8k one ended up in Phil Galfond’s possession. Everything accounted for, Galfond finished the day with an impressive profit of $132.7k.
On Sunday, Sam Trickett was one of the biggest winners. He ground away at the $50/$100 PLO tables, and finished with a profit of $151.4k.

Viktor Blom, who has only recently signed a deal with Full Tilt Poker, saw action at PokerStars again. His day was Tuesday, when he generated $208.6k in profits. Vladimir Schemelev finished as the second biggest winner of the week.
