Online poker – Cadillac1944 back in action

Online poker player Cadillac1944 had been dropping money at Full Tilt Poker’s nosebleed tables at an alarming rate, before he disappeared off the radar a few weeks ago. The other day, he resurfaced, probably to exact some revenge and to recoup some of his losses. Things didn’t quite turn out as planned for him though. Instead of winning money back, he dropped some more, mostly to Scott Palmer.
Cadillac1944 played at the $300/$600 six-max PLO tables at
Full Tilt Poker, against players like Tom Dwan, Phil Galfond and Scott Palmer. The action did get “out of hand” several times as far as pot-sizes were concerned, and thus the largest pot of the month (a $369k+ whooper) saw the light of day too, only to quickly disappear in Palmer’s pockets, despite the fact that there were no fewer than 4 players involved. Palmer was the one who held a top set when the money went into the middle and his already made hand held up nicely.
Galfond dropped significant money on that pot, but he made up for it a little later, when he clinched a $300k monster of his own. That hand had 3 players commit massive amounts of chips: Galfond himself, Cadillac1944 and LokoIsBack. Galfond was an over 72% favorite when the chips were pushed into the middle and his advantage held to lock up the monster pot for him.
Cadillac1944 was involved in both hands and he lost out massively both times. LokoIsBack was also on the wrong side of those hand histories but he managed to limit his losses to stay off the biggest losers’ casualty-list. Having dropped a total of $258k, Cadillac1944 made the list, and so did Phil Galfond, who – despite his above described win – managed to lose $154k.
Gus Hansen was by far the biggest loser though, having dropped around $612k. Scott Palmer logged a $500k+ profit to make the top of the winners’ list.
