Online Poker – Hansen in the red again

Following the explosion of action the nosebleed stakes have seen at Full Tilt Poker in recent weeks, things slowed a little down over the past few days. Isildur1 has dropped most of his rebuilt
Full Tilt Poker bankroll to Brian Hastings again. Content with his latest haul, Hasting laid low too. Hansen, who had been doing relatively well in 2010, Ilari Sahamies and the eternal contender, Tom Dwan were in action once again though.
After having built a profit of about $3 million during the first couple of months of the year, Hansen began a pretty spectacular slide at around the beginning of March. That trend continued for the Great Dane with a $400k loss in recent days. Hit by bad luck again in a session against Cole South, Hansen officially returned to ATM status. The interesting thing about the bad beats Hansen takes these days is just how unlucky he gets. He can’t seem to be able to make a singe crucial hand hold up.
The
Online Poker match with Cole South took place at the $300/$600 tables. The biggest pot of the session was a $121,800 one which of course ended up in South’s possession. The money went all in on the flop of 6h,8d,As, and at that stage, Hansen was ahead with A,8,7,4. South had 9,8,6,5, but he pulled ahead on the turn which fell 7s. The 5s on the river sealed the deal.
Tom Dwan has played quite dominantly recently, but these past few days, he too hit a snag. He locked horns with Ilari Sahamies at the $500/$1,000 PLO tables. By the time the session wrapped up, durrrr had lost about $150k.
The biggest pot of the session was a $247,367 one. Durrrr started out the preflop raising war with a $3,000 bet. Sahamies was keen to take that to $9,000 before Dwan made the call and the flop fell 10c,Jc,9h.
The money went all-in on the river, after the 8c and 5c fell on the turn and river respectively.
Sahamies then showed Ac,Ad,9c,7c for the nut flush and Dwan mucked to let go of the $247,367 monster.
The biggest winners of the past week were POKERBLUFFS, ClockWyze and URnotINdanger2. Hansen was back on the losers’ list, together with Tom Dwan and Alexander Kostritsyn.
