Online Poker Weekend – Jarzabek’s Second Sunday Million Deep Run

online poker weekend was an eventful one yet again. No fewer than 9 players picked up 6-figure prizes in the various weekend majors at
PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker. The biggest winner of the weekend was yet again the winner of PokerStars’ Sunday Million, who set the bar to $164k.
While the winner of the event was an unknown player, all railbird eyes were on the player who ended up in 3rd place: poker pro Casey Jarzabek is slowly but surely on his way to becoming a regular presence in the top 5 of the online poker world’s richest tournament: last week, he finished in 4th place, picking up a more than decent reward then too. This time, he finished 3rd, for a $118.1k reward.
The Sunday Million drew a starting field of 7,324 players, creating a prize-pool of $1.4 million+. The interesting thing about the event was that the top 5 finishers agreed on a deal, which left the eventual runner-up, Cam Murray, seriously short-changed. Murray must’ve had a truly crippled stack when the deal was made, because – despite finishing 2nd – he was the only player who failed to reach 6-figures in the top 5. He finished with $95.9k. Jarzabek - who finished 3rd - picked up $118.1k for his efforts. 4th place man “francispoker” was rewarded with $134.7k. The biggest winner was of course the player known as “stackarn” who finished 1st.
Notables who had deep runs were Zsolt Vasvenszki (who took home $45.4k for his 6th place) and Clark Hamagami, who finished 11th for a $8k reward.
The other 6-figure winners of the weekend came from the Sunday Warm-Up and the MiniFTOPS XXI Main Event from Full Tilt Poker, which featured a $750k guarantee.
