Over the last weekend, no fewer than 6 players walked away with 6-figure profits from
Full Tilt Poker’s tournament tables. The MiniFTOPS Main Event was on the schedule, as well as the $750 GTD and the usual weekend selection of guaranteed prize-pool events.
The biggest winner of the weekend was Salamander6, who survived the largest field to pocket a $150k prize in event #25 of the FTOPS.
Featuring a buy-in of only $70+$5, the Main Event drew a starting field of 14,396 players. The prize-pool was a $1,007,720 one, which meant that the winner would pocket around $150k. A three way deal was made at the final table though, which meant that the prize which landed in Tim Clark’s account was a $124,220 one. Zavor4ik finished in 2nd for a $105,144 payday.
Converse18 finished 3rd for $100,504.
Because of the deal he struck, Clark missed out on the opportunity to take down the largest haul of the weekend. That honor befell Salamander6 instead. He pocketed $150k for his victory in the $200+$16 NL Holdem 2-day event. The
poker tournament saw 2,682 players register. The buy-ins combined for a $750k prize-pool.
Arpchi took down $94,500 for his second place almost hitting the 100k mark. Planetearf scored $69k for his 3rd place.
Full Tilt Poker’s $750k guaranteed is a regular weekend attraction for all those who can cough up the $200+$16 buy-in. Last Sunday, the event managed to attract 3,497 players, whose combined buy-ins failed to cover the guarantee.
Marshall1112 walked away with the top prize in this poker tournament, pocketing $132,787. He would be the only six-figure winner of the event though. Sampson724, who finished 2nd, only took down $80,250. No deals were made in this event.
A notable finish was that of Michael Katz, who wound up in 26th place, taking down $2,776 for his efforts.
Full Tilt’s Sunday Brawl gave birth to yet another 6-figure winner. Asudetrefla won the tournament, sailing to a $107,468 prize without any final table deals cutting into his profit-margin. ZiZaZeppo finished 2nd for a $69,365 payout.
Christian Iacobellis finished 4th and Adam Shuman ended up in 7th.
The Sunday Mulligan saw a two-way deal at the top, between Ben Volpe and SHIP THAT. Volpe ended up with the win eventually, taking home $45,460.
