It's that time of year again; the world is gearing up, renewing passports and  preparing to fly across the globe to the Aussie Millions series, and if you play your cards right you might be joining the masses thanks to Pacific Poker.

The road to Aussie Millions starts with freerolls, yes, that's right, freerolls. Every Saturday there are freeroll tournaments at Pacific Poker that award seats into the Daily Step 1 tournaments which have a $5 + 50c buy-in. 1 in 5 players from the step 1 tournaments will go through to step 2 which run every Monday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday with a $23 + $2 buy-in. Again, 1 in 5 will progress to the next level which is Step 3; $105 + $10 running on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. From Step 3, 1 in 5 will go on to the final step, the Aussie Millions Qualifier. There will be an Aussie Millions Qualifier every second Sunday at Pacific Poker at 19:55 GMT. Each Aussie Millions Qualifier has a direct buy-in of $500 + $25, and one package is available to be won from each qualifier.

If you're not familiar with Aussie Millions, you soon will be. The tournament came into existence in 1997 under the name Poker at Crown, which then developed into the Crown Australian Poker Championship, or the Aussie Millions. In 2009 the event consisted of 18 events, and the Main Event which attracted 681 players was won by Aussie Stewart Scott to the tune of $2,000,000. The packages on offer at Pacific Poker are worth an estimated $14,500 each and include travel expenses to Melbourne, 11 nights' accommodation, some spending money, and the buy-in to the Main Event.  The 2010 event will consist of 20 events plus qualifiers, and will be held from January 14th to 31st, 2010.
