Party Poker Beta Testing its Fast Forward Poker

Games like
PokerStars’ Zoom Poker and the now defunct Rush Poker from Full Tilt created something of a small-scale revolution in online poker. These fast folding games are some grinders’ wet dreams, while others just enjoy them for the non-stop rabid action they offer. As the games have become extremely popular, all the top-tier online poker rooms have begun entertaining thoughts of adding them to their offers.
PartyPoker has recently made news by removing some of its high stakes tables. Now it’s time for them to add something, and that something will apparently be Fast Forward Poker, PartyPoker’s own version of Zoom/Rush/fast folding poker.
The new game will be added to the PartyPoker game selection this week, albeit only in a beta shape for now. Players will thus be able to grind away at mind-boggling speeds at PartyPoker too. The poker room on the other hand will be able to directly compete with PokerStars’ Zoom Poker.
It is rumored that PartyPoker’s Fast Forward Poker will become available for real money play shortly after the beta launch. The stakes at which players will be able to fast-fold away will apparently be the $0.02/$0.04 and the $0.05/$0.10 ones.
The way Fast Forward poker works is similar to Rush Poker and Zoom Poker. Instead of sitting at a table with a quite limited number of opponents, Fast Forward Poker players will sit in a pool. Whenever they see a starting hand they don’t like, they can fold before the action comes around to them. Once they fold, they’re instantly transferred to a different table, where they’re dealt into a different hand straight away.
The time for
PartyPoker to get in on the fast-folding act is long overdue. Those who are looking to give the new game a try can open a PartyPoker account right now, taking advantage of our PartyPoker sign-up bonus and various promotions.
