Phil Ivey Hits Massive Losing Streak

Over the last couple of weeks, despite the relative lull in nosebleed stakes online cash game action, massive swings were registered by several players. The winners' side of these swings was represented by Ilari Sahamies, who became the first player to have crossed the $1 million profit mark for 2015. Sahamies conserved his advantage this week, despite the fact that he was once again involved in the action, at Full Tilt Poker as well as at
PokerStars. Isaac Haxton worked both poker rooms as well, and he finished with handsome profits at both rooms: he took down some $204.3k at PokerStars, and $120.1k at Full Tilt Poker. His 324.4k profit made him the biggest winner of the week.
While no one managed to win nearly as much as Haxton, there was one person who lost a whole lot more. Phil Ivey dropped some $506k, becoming the biggest loser of the week, for the second week in a row no less. Last week, Ivey lost some $614.3k, so his total for the last two weeks rounds out to more than $1.1 million.

The second biggest loser of this week, AthaCliath, didn't even come close to Ivey's "accomplishments". He "only" dropped $116.5k, but he did it in only 4 sessions totaling 115 hands. Sanlker was among the losers as well: he dropped $111.2k.
A lot of the money Ivey lost ended up in possession of Carlooo13, who took some $340k from him at the 8-game tables. While the above said session occurred on Sunday, Ivey still managed to finish the day with a modest profit of about $54.2k.
