Pokerstars EPT Prague – Day 4 report

The 4th day of action saw the final table reached at the PokerStars EPT’s Prague Main Event. Marco Leonzio is the one who’ll start the final stretch of action with the largest stack of chips.
24 players bellied up to the tables at the start of the day and it took quite some time till that field whittled down to the final 8, given the deep stacked and generally player-friendly structure of the
EPT events.
Team
PokerStars Pro had a solid representation at the start of Day 4. Many of these players fell by the side till the end of the day though. Zoltan Szabo, the Pragers and Salvatore Bonavena all failed to make it to the final table.
Kevin MacPhee was the one who started the day in pole position. Unfortunately, he got hit by bad luck and dropped a bunch of large pots, to bleed all his chips away and to hit the rail near the end of the day. The player many experts had their eyes on, MacPhee ended up as the final table bubble-boy.
Marco Leonzio on the other hand started the day on a lesser stack, but managed to shoot right into the lead by eliminating Melanie Weisner, and winning 3.5 million chips in the process. Peter Skripka was involved in that hand as well and he lost too, but despite the hit he took, he managed to hang on and eventually finished in second place.
Play really picked up pace when the field got down to the final two tables. From that point, the final table was reached relatively quickly, and the action slowed down again on the bubble.
A whole bunch of Italians made it to the final stretch. Chip leader Marco Leonzio will be joined at the final table by fellow countrymen Emilliano Bono and Roberto Nulli.
