PokerStars’ Ultimate Home Game

In a bid to promote its new Home Games feature, PokerStars has launched a promotion which offers excellent value for those who open a private poker club at the site and go through a few basic steps towards making that club active.
In order to qualify for the promotion, this is what you have to do: sign up to PokerStars or if you already have an account there, just set up a Home Poker Club. Then get at least 7 friends to join you there and get some action going. Don’t worry, you won’t have to break open the piggybank to fulfill the requirements, you are even allowed to stick to play money games.
Get together with your friends and play at least 2 real money games or at least 5 play money ones and you’re on your way to a $100k freeroll which takes place on March 6th 2011. Remember: you have to be a club manager. Simply joining a friend’s home game club won’t do, although if he plays in the $100k freeroll and wins, you’ll benefit as a member too.
The $100k freeroll will offer the winner and his friends the trip of a lifetime: they’ll go to the
EPT Snowfest stop in Austria, to Vancouver, to Macau or to Buenos Aires.
That’s not all there is to the prize package though. Included in it is a bankroll for a VIP game for which Daniel Negreanu, Jonathan Duhamel and a third
PokerStars pro will join the winners.
The value in the promotion is more than obvious and due to the lax qualifying requirements, you don’t even have to hurry up. There’s no pressure whatsoever since you can theoretically fulfill those requirements in a day if you’re truly serious about it.
On top of that, your home poker club may turn out to be a success as well, and you may end up owning your own little corner of an online poker operation.
