Full Tilt Poker have been busy adding professionals lately with the goal of securing proper representation in various segments of the European
online poker market. Their latest additions are three eastern European poker players whose task will be to carry the
Full Tilt Poker banner at the Eureka Poker Tour events and in various other European live
poker tournaments.
Hana Soljan, who’s already logged her first appearance in Full Tilt Poker’s colors at the Galway Poker Festival, is one of the three players and many are already hailing her as the new face of Croatian poker.
With a background in journalism, she is indeed in a perfect position to become just that. Besides playing the game, she writes a lot about it and she even hosts a poker TV-show in Croatia. Of course, her actual green felt accomplishments are nothing to scoff at either. For a short while, it seemed like she would win every tournament in which she took part. An outstanding victory of hers was her 2010 triumph in the
EPT Prague’s ladies event. She followed that up with a side event win in the 2011 PCA and another win in the ladies event of the Eureka Poker Tour’s Zagreb event.
Her start in poker was a rather promising one too. She says she got hooked after she played in a large event in Zagreb and following that, she would win every poker event in which she played for three or four months. If success comes that easily, it’s indeed easy to get hooked on something.
In regards to her Full Tilt sponsorship, Soljan says she believes players in Croatia no longer carry any hard feelings towards the online poker operator, and they now trust the brand because of its
PokerStars links of course.
