With the EPT's Deauville Main Event already in the books and with the stop pretty much wrapped up, it is time now to look ahead and take a glance at the recently released schedule of the
EPT's 2013 London Stop. Having returned to the Grosvenor Victoria Casino on Edgeware Road, the stop is essentially returning to its roots. The poker festival which will kick off on March 5, is expected to be bigger and better than ever and given the fact that this year the UKIPT (UK and Ireland Poker Tour) will also be slapped onto the schedule, chances are that will indeed be the case.
According to
PokerStars Pro Victoria Coren, who is quite excited about returning to the scene of her EPT victory, the atmosphere in the Grosvenor Victoria will indeed be second to none. The festival is scheduled to kick off with the Main Event of the UKIPT, a
poker tournament featuring a buy-in of £770. That will however only be the cherry on the cake. Every day, there are scheduled to be turbo events starting from £110, and there will be a whole host of UKIPT site events, amongst which the High Roller is probably the most spectacular one, featuring a buy-in of £2,150.
The EPT's £5,250 Main Event will only hit the limelight once the UKIPT Main Event wraps up. Since the Main Event is scheduled to last several days, during that time, there will be other side events running as well to keep those who bust out early entertained. There will be a Spring Fling Turbo which offers a guaranteed prize pool of £25,000. There will be no limit turbo events, a women's only event, a no limit Deep Stack event, and last but certainly not least: the EPT's £10,300 Super High Roller.
