Titan Poker Launches Speed Poker

The success of Full Tilt Poker’s Rush Poker has been undeniable ever since it first hit the market. Even PokerStars, Full Tilt’s arch-rival was caught off-guard by the move. Of course, since then, PokerStars have debuted their own brand of fast fold poker and they have acquired Full Tilt poker, together with their Rush Poker, becoming the undisputed kings of ‘poker on crack’.
The online poker industry seems reluctant to give in to the PokerStars monopoly in this respect though, and after PartyPoker have announced their own fast fold poker variant,
Titan Poker, the biggest iPoker skin, have also launched their own version.
Called Speed Poker, Titan Poker’s fast folding poker has already been made available for
Texas Holdem and Omaha cash game tables. Speed Poker is a pretty standard take on fast folding poker: it places individual players into pools, and as soon as one hits the fold button, he/she is taken to a different table within the same pool where he/she is immediately dealt into another hand.
The advantages offered by Speed Poker are obvious: players won’t have to spend hours folding starting hands they don’t like. Profitable players will also be able to radically increase their hourly rates, since Speed Poker will run at least twice as fast as a regular cash game.
Those looking to earn Titan Points will find it much easier to rack up the goods at the Speed Poker tables too. Speed Poker tables can be used for bonus redemption, so those who decide to sign up to the poker room now (they should obviously do it through PokerStop in order to secure the best available bonus deal) will be able to redeem their bonuses much faster than ever before.
Whether or not Titan Poker’s Speed Poker will be able to draw in significant new traffic, remains to be seen. One thing is certain though: existing Titan players will certainly appreciate the addition of the new feature.
