Unibet Poker has been a major player in the online poker world for quite a while now and they're not slowing down one bit in 2016. Nothing proves this better than the recent release of the 2016 schedule of their Unibet Poker Open, which is the 9th edition of the popular series, and which - as always - aims to please by offering Unibet players the chance to take their poker skills to the live tables in no fewer than 4 different locations.
In 2016, Unibet Open stops will take place in London, Malta and Copenhagen. In addition to that, there will also be a surprise stop, which will wrap up the Unibet Open season in the fall. The location of this stop has not yet been set and will be announced at a later date. Last season has showcased a multitude of reasons regarding the popularity of the Unibet Open. The prize-pools exceeded €1.43 million, each and every one of the stops featured a superb Main Event as well as various casino- and sports betting-focused challenges.

Season 9 of the Series will be just as exciting and possibly even more rewarding than Season 8: the Main Events will be back, accompanied by the usual selection of side-events. The casino and sports betting challenges will be back as well, together with the Unibet parties and hospitality that usually accompany these stops.
The first of the stops will be hosted by the Victoria Casino on London's Edgeware Road and it will take place between March 3 and 6. Qualifiers to the London stop are already running, so taking full advantage of them makes perfect sense right now.
The second stop of the Open is scheduled for May 26-29, and it will be hosted by Malta's new Olympic Casino. Those who qualify online to this stop through Unibet Poker, will get to stay at the 5-star Intercontinental Hotel. Last year, some 293 players played in this event, and the top prize tipped the scales at €117k.
The third stop, the Copenhagen one, is scheduled for August 25-28. The scene of the action will be the Radisson Hotel in the Danish capital. Interestingly, qualifiers for this stop are already running at the site too. The lowest-tier qualifiers are freerolls.
