Independence Day is dedicated to celebrating freedom in all its guises and what could make you happier about being free than making yourself a million bucks.
Well, maybe a million bucks is a bit of an exaggeration, but the American dream is about taking an opportunity working hard, and ending up with a lot. This is exactly the opportunity that Absolute Poker will be giving each member of its online poker community this July 4th. To celebrate Independence Day Absolute Poker is inviting its members to take part in the exclusive July 4th poker tournaments, dubbed Liberty Tourneys. The first of the Liberty Tourneys is a free poker tournament and will be held at 12 pm ET on July 4th. This freeroll Liberty Tourney will award its top 20 players with seats at the $200k guaranteed Tournament that will be held on the same day at 4 pm ET; giving you just enough time to grill a few sausages between tournaments.
If the free poker tournaments aren’t your style, but you’d still like a crack at a $200k prize pool then you can also check out the $200k Rebuy Satellites. The Rebuy Satellites will also be held on July 4th, but an hour after the free tournaments. The buy-in for the rebuy 1.30 pm tournaments will be $4 + 0.40 and from this tournament also 20 players will go through to the $200k guaranteed.
Independence Day comes just once a year, but of course the opportunity to realise the American dream comes more regularly than that. Absolute Poker runs tournaments each and every weekend with a combined prize pool of $400,000. If your weekends are a little busy however then don’t despair; you may have noticed in the poker forums that the mid week Absolute Poker tournaments are also worth checking out. Each Wednesday is worth $230k at Absolute Poker. That sum is made up of a $150k Guaranteed Deep Stack tournament which is held at 20:30 ET, and a fantastic $80k Sniper tournament which will see each member of the online poker community with a $20 bounty on their head.
Clearly when the fireworks start to bang on the night of July 4th there’s someone who’s dream will come true, but isn’t it nice to know that we don’t have to wait for the big events, but rather those opportunities present themselves the whole time at Absolute Poker!
