Who needs happy hour when you've got Power Hour. The latest promotion from Absolute Poker is not for the weak hearted; double points means double prizes, are you ready?
Power Hour is here, and Absolute Poker players are over the moon, and if they're not it's because they haven't yet seen the glory of this promotion. Power Hour essentially is selected hours during which players can earn double the number of AbsolutePoints that they would during normal play time. In essence therefore this means, this is a promotion offering double for nothing – we love it!
Games that are included in power hour include Sit n Gos as well as STEP tournaments. The idea we can only presume is to get people playing in the more off-peak hours, but frankly who cares what the reason behind Power Hour is, we're just happy to take advantage of it. These wonderful Power Hours take place between 1 and 4 am ET every day, and 1 to 4 pm every day except Sundays when the power hours in the afternoon extend to 5 pm. You'll see a Power Hour icon next to all games that are partaking in the promotion, and you'll soon see your AbsolutePoints balance clocking up points. The Power Hour promotion is part of the bigger FAME reward scheme which runs at Absolute Poker allowing customers to collect points that can then be changed in for cash or products at the Rewards Store. FAME program points can be used to buy a huge variety of products ranging from a decks of cards to an LCD TV.
