Once November starts you know that the festive season is just around the corner and with their Turkey Tourney, Absolute poker is set on bringing the festivities home.
Here's a date for your diary – November 26th, 2009. Yes it's Thanksgiving, but that's not why I'm telling you to save the date. Absolute Poker in recognition and celebration of the festive day, on which every-one is merry, turkeys shudder from fear, and families hardly bicker, is offering all customers the ability to play in a special Thanksgiving Treat Turkey Tourney from which much sought after seats to the Sunday $200k can be won.
The Turkey Tourney will be getting underway at 8:30 p.m. ET on Thanksgiving Night and from it five seats will be given away to the Sunday $200k guaranteed prize pool tournament. The Absolute Poker Turkey Tourney can be bought into for $33, or you can qualify for it through one of the many Thanksgiving Treat Qualifier tournaments that will be running every half hour at one minute past the half hour from 9:01 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day. These qualifiers will each have a buy-in of either $2.20, or $3.30.
The $200k guaranteed tournament is a flagship tournament at Absolute Poker: It runs each Sunday at 5:30 p.m. ET and has a regular buy-in of $215.
