Qualify Online to the European Poker Tour 2013 - EPT 10 London Stop

The few tweaks that the organizers have made in the EPT 10 schedule, have all been inspired ones apparently: they moved one of the biggest, richest and most popular stops, the London one, back to a Fall slot, which means that after the Barcelona opener, the London stop is the next one up. Like last year, the stop will probably attract scores of high profile poker professionals and if the Barcelona stop is any indication, the prize-pools will end up breaking records yet again.

Last season, 647 players bought into the Main Event, at the end of which, Dutch poker pro Reuben Visser walked away with the top prize, which tipped the scale at £595k. The high roller was obviously another highlight of the Series. Talal Sakerchi took home the top prize of that one, walking away £436.3k richer. To underline the fact that it is indeed one of the richest live poker events we’re dealing with here: last year’s London stop saw over £5 million given away in prizes.

The subtle tweaks in the actual lineup of the events which make up the European Poker Tour’s 10th season London stop means that this year there will be even more action and even bigger prize-pools. The Main Event will be the usual £5,250 affair, but in addition to it, there will be a high roller too of course as well as the Main Event of the UK and Ireland Poker Tour and the European 8-Game championship.

The stop will be hosted by the Grand Connaught Rooms, a new venue, well suited to accommodate the throngs of players that are expected to join the action.
Qualification is of course possible online at PokerStars, and those who find it impossible to take advantage of this path will be able to buy into the Main Event directly through PokerStars too.
