The poker forums are heating up with news of the Aussie Millions and Bwin Poker is awarding packages to the southern hemisphere event of the year worth $15,000.
Bwin Poker was well represented last year at the Aussie Millions with one of it’s package winners, kirb18x coming in in 10th place; this year the online poker site is determined to do even better. As such there are now daily live event qualifiers running at Bwin Poker starting from as little as $1 and resulting in Aussie Millions packages worth $15,000.
The qualifying structure for these packages is incredibly straight forward. The members of the online poker site don’t have to jump through hoops to get a package rather you simply play in a daily Live Event qualifier running from now until December 26th; the winners of those tournaments will go through to a $15,000 Aussie Millions Final running each Sunday up to and including November 14th, and then each Sunday and Thursday from November 18th to December 26th. The winners of those tournaments will get a $15,000 Aussie Millions 2011 Package, simple as that.
The $15,000 Aussie Millions 2011 Packages include the Main Event buy-in of $10,000, $2,500 for flights and spending money, and a further $2,500 for accommodation. Members of the online poker community who win one of these Bwin Poker packages will travel on January 20th, returning on January 31st. In order to find those daily Live Event qualifiers simply sign in to Bwin Poker, go to Scheduled Tournaments in the lobby and look for Aussie Millions Qualifiers.
Alternatively, you could take advantage of the free poker play options to get to the Aussie Millions. Using the claim code AUSSIE you can enter an Aussie Millions Freeroll running on Saturdays at 20:00. From each of these free poker play tournaments 100 members of the online poker community will qualify for the Aussie Millions Freeroll Final to be held on December 18th from which 3 packages will be awarded.
