Everyone would like to take part in the Grand Series of Poker, but not every member of the online poker community is able to; the GSOP Mini however is possible.
You’re probably already familiar with the schedule for the GSOP 7 at Bwin Poker, and maybe have even had a look at the qualifying structure. If however it’s all a little out of your price range, or simply a bit too heavy for you then maybe the Grand Series of Poker Mini could be the perfect thing for you. The GSOP Mini has as many enticing events as the GSOP but for a fraction of the buy-in; in fact the buy-ins for the GSOP Mini start at just $5 + 0.50.
Just like the GSOP the GSOP Mini experience culminates with a Gland Slam Mini Final. In the case of the GSOP Mini, the Grand Slam Mini Final has a buy-in of $525 and a guaranteed prize pool of $200,000. The Grand Slam Mini Final will be held on October 16th at 20:00 GMT +2, but of course the qualifying for it starts at Bwin Poker much earlier. Members of the online poker site can qualify for the Grand Slam Mini Final through a variety of routes.
There are daily Grand Slam Mini qualifiers running at the online poker site to be found in the Bwin Poker lobby. Of course there are the GSOP Mini events running from September 25th to October 9th from which the winners will automatically qualify for the Grand Slam Mini Final. Finally there’s the leaderboards. The first place winner on the leaderboards will win a direct entry to the Grand Slam Mini Final. Not to be stingy with the places however, Bwin Poker will award 2nd to 100th place finishers a place in one of 3 Grand Slam Mini Leaderboard Qualifiers to be held on October 15th.
