The UK Bwin Poker league is in its final stages and there's everything still to play for at the online poker site for an offline live final.
The Bwin Poker league has been running for 10 weeks, and with less than 2 weeks to go, the final leg of the league is here, and tension is mounting. The league that got started on September 17th will draw to a close on Thursday December 10th when we will see who will be going forward to the offline $10,000 guaranteed prize pool tournament.
Over the course of the Bwin Poker league which is open only to UK players, Bwin Poker has been running no limit hold'em tournaments with points prizes. The tournaments have $4 buy-ins half of which goes towards that tournament's prize pool, and half of which will make up the live final prize pool which Bwin Poker guarantees to be $10,000. It's been a good race with players earning points on the basis of their wins, but everyone knows that ultimately it's only the top ten players that go through to the live event. There's also been running a freeroll league from which the single top player will find themselves with a seat to the live final.
With the last stretch upon us, there's nothing to loose and everything to gain; the top 10 positions have a huge range between them. Currently the main league leader has 191 points whilst the 10th position player is on just 52, and with 50 points available for a first place win you could find yourself in the running even at this late stage.
So, UK players, get your skates on, the Bwin Poker league is awaiting, and time it is a tocking.
