Bwin Poker is taking sit n’ go tournament play to a whole other level with their Chip Chaser tournaments that are set to be a storming success.
If you’re a fly by the seat of your pants kind of player, the type who likes to keep the adrenalin pumping and the excitement high, then Bwin Poker has just the type of tournament for you. This is what we might call extreme sit n’ go, it’s fast, it’s furious, it’s sure to have your heart in your mouth and a smile on your face. Bwin Poker has introduced a new type of sit n’ go poker tournament that they’ve dubbed Chip Chasers and frankly there isn’t a better name for it.
The Chip Chaser tournament involves 1,000 chips, 100 ante, and 10 minutes to win – this is how it works. At the beginning of the tournament everyone has 1,000 chips; there are no blinds in this style of tournaments – every-one antes up. This means that the pressure is on from the get go to keep your head above water and to build your chips from the start. However, as if that wasn’t pulse powering enough, the poker site has another rule; after just 10 minutes everyone is automatically put all-in. At that point you slug it out until just 2 players remain. The bigger your pile before the 10 minutes hits, the higher your chances of making it to one of those final 2 slots. The first place winner will get 70% of the pot, the second place winner 30% - everyone else gets to try again next time.
The Chip Chaser tournaments are available for buy-ins of $1 + 0.2, right up to $20 + 2 and are all 10 seater tournaments. In order to find them at Bwin Poker simply go to Sit & Go Tournaments in the menu, and find Chip Chasers. The online poker community has been calling out for a new level of poker play, and it may just be that the Chip Chaser tournaments will answer that call – we’ll be keeping an ear close to the poker forum ground to see what the lowdown is!
