Full Tilt Poker no Longer Second

Immediately after its re-launch,
Full Tilt Poker, with its new management at the steering wheel, reclaimed its second most trafficked online poker room title. It looked like it was going to weather the Black Friday storm as unfazed as
PokerStars were after they paid out their US customers and moved their focus elsewhere.
PartyPoker and the iPoker network had been the two
online poker operators battling it out for second place before Full Tilt’s re-surfacing, and for a couple of months there, it looked like they got thoroughly trounced by Full Tilt, which drew roughly twice as many cash game players to its tables than either of them.
The sudden cash game traffic surge at Full Tilt proved to be nothing more than a quick blaze, swiftly eating its way through the dry foliage of hype surrounding the re-launch of the site. Now, a good few months after its re-launch, Full Tilt Poker fell behind PartyPoker and iPoker, its couple of months of fame over and its cash game tables deserted by the thousands lured over through the generous promotions which accompanied the re-launch.
According to sites which specialize in tracking online poker traffic, Full Tilt Poker boasted an impressive 6,700 real money cash game players on average immediately after its re-launch. The other day however, the new numbers came out and they were much less impressive. Only about 3,050 players bellied up to the real money cash game tables at Full Tilt, slightly fewer than at iPoker and PartyPoker. PartyPoker saw 3.3k players, while iPoker clocked in at 3.2k.
All the “blame” for the drop in the traffic ranking cannot be placed squarely on Full Tilt Poker though. Both PartyPoker and iPoker have made moves recently to expand and to conquer new markets.
