As spring starts to thaw the winter snows in Copenhagen, the Unibet Open will be making its first stop of 2013, bringing poker cheer to all and sundry.
Season 6 of the Unibet Open will be making its debut in Copenhagen where some of the best professional and amateur poker players in the world will be gathering to play texas holdem for money from March 7th to 10th. The No Limit Hold’em Main Event buy-in is €1,500 + 150, but of course on line poker site Unibet Poker is already running qualifiers to help you get there for less.
Of course in order to play texas holdem for money in Copenhagen it’s not just the buy-in you need; you also need to get there. Unibet Poker has put together packages worth €2,500 each which include the main event buy-in as well as €300 towards travel, plus 4 nights’ accommodation. 8 of these packages are guaranteed to be won through the weekly Unibet Open Sunday final. These finals run each Sunday at 20:30 CET and have a direct buy-in of €255 + €20. Unsurprisingly however, members of Unibet Poker can qualify for those Sunday Final tournaments for a lot less though. In fact the qualifying structure starts with daily freeroll tournaments. Each day, 3 times a day you can find Unibet Open Freeroll Satellites. There are also daily €2 satellite tournaments running. In total there are 8 different types of on line poker satellites leading to that Sunday Final at Unibet Poker with buy-ins ranging from freeroll to €55.
