Online Poker Action – Blom and Tollerene Big Winners

Last week, the high stakes online poker action raged on at
PokerStars as well as at
Full Tilt Poker, and the two players who reaped the biggest advantages off the storm were Ben Tollerene and Viktor Blom, who both took home more than $1 million in profits.
The biggest winner of the week was Tollerene, who finished the period with $1,385,130 to his name. Although he won considerably less, tipping the scales at $1,107,438, Blom was probably a happy camper too at the end of the week. Even though he took home less, Blom played almost 4 times as much as Tollerene.
Other players who made the winners’ list with handsome profits were Alexander Kostritsyn, who profited about $622.8k, Ben Sulsky (about $401k) and “1Il|1Il|1il|”, who stuck to PokerStars and finished the biggest winner there with $319.8k.
The player who is “1Il|1Il|1il|” at PokerStars is said to be none other than Hac Dang, and if that is indeed the truth, then his losses at Full Tilt Poker have pretty much obliterated his winnings at PokerStars. Last week, he dropped no less than $935.8k at Full Tilt Poker in just 2,980 hands, spread over 30 different sessions. Tom Dwan was also on the losing end: he dropped $572k in 9,688 hands. Gus Hansen, who is quite a regular presence at the top of the losers’ list didn’t disappoint either: he lost $503.4k, to secure his spot again. Kyle Ray and Ilari Sahamies rounded out the losers’ list.
Dwan started off the month of March on the right foot when he won $272k at the newly fashionable 2-7 Triple Draw tables on March 2. The following day, he returned to the action, and he won $342k more.
Blom and Tollerene’s $1 million rush came within 48 hours on March 4 and 5.
