Online poker action – Isildur1 continues to dominate

The midweek saw some pretty solid poker action yet again, with the big guns spending time at the tables both at
Full Tilt Poker and Pokerstars. Viktor Blom was yet again among the winners, after he managed to amass a $332k profit, for which he logged about 8.2k hands. Jared Bleznick did extremely well too, thrusting himself over the quarter million mark during that same period. The losers who were obviously directly responsible for some of the above said profits, were Richard Lyndaker and Tom Dwan.
Probably still holding a grudge on Brian Hastings, the player primarily responsible for his 2009 downfall, Viktor Blom locked horns with him again at
PokerStars’ tables. He had accumulated more than $600k in winnings beforehand, so his roll was well-padded for the risky move. Sure enough, to add to his frustration, Blom dropped $150k to Hastings yet again, yet again failing to shake the proverbial monkey off his back.
The game was $25/$50 PLO. The session saw 2 significant hands develop, both of which ended up in Brian Hastings’ pockets.
Jared Bleznick did his share of damage at Full Tilt Poker’s $500/$1,000 PLO capped tables and most of his money came from UarePileous. In one of the hands that reached the $80 cap, Bleznick flopped a set of Ks to best his opponent’s flopped two pair. Not even the fact that he turned a higher two pair could help UarePileous.
In another maxed-out hand, the two players agreed to run the turn and the river cards twice. Both times, Bleznick hit a boat, leaving little doubt about whom lady Luck had sided with that day.
Everything accounted for, including the two above described monster pots, Bleznick took down a $251,806 profit during the Tuesday-Thursday period.
Besides Bleznick and Blom, Benjamin Tollerene, Gus Hansen and Scott Palmer had profitable weeks as well.
Richard Lyndaker and Tom Dwan lead the losers’ list.
