The online poker tournament action was as hot as ever over the past weekend. The biggest winner was player “Sumai” who scored a massive $225,000 in PokerStars’ Sunday Million. Sumai beat Paul Nash and player “44-Skadoo” to the prize, but those guys scored 6-figure wins as well.
7,364 players paid up the $200+$15 buy-in, generating a total prize-pool of $1.5 million, more than comfortably covering the guarantee. There was no deal making at the top this time, so Paul Nash walked away with $165,666 and 44-Skadoo took home $120,000.
Joseph Cappuccio finished 11th for $8,250, Josh Bergman ended up in 12th and Ray Coburn finished in 21st.

The weekend saw other 6 figure winners too. PokerStars’ Sunday Warmup registered a starting field of 4,379 players. The buy-in was $200+$15 and a prize-pool of $875,800 was created. This event saw a deal between the top two finishers which resulted in second place finisher Victor Jenssen taking down more money than the winner. Jenssen walked away with $120,000, while “Maudi 138tt” who won it all, pocketed $119,426.
NutsErryTime finished 3rd, for $72,253. Juan Macerais Barros finished 28th for $1,926.

The Sunday 500’s bigger buy-in limited the number of registrants for the event to 1,015. The prize pool was a $507,500 one, and player “bliiz” , who ended up winning the tourney, walked away with $87,594. Fabiano Estorino finished second for $63,437, and D.J 777 took home $48,212 for his 3rd place. Ryan Welch finished 12th, Daniel Drescher finished 15th and Lance Harris ended up in 17th place.

Meanwhile, over at Full Tilt Poker, other 6-figure winners were being born. The $750,000 Guaranteed, featuring a buy-in of $200+$16, attracted a field of 3,838 players. The prize-pool managed to cover the guarantee at $767,600. The winner, TheRyanKing07 walked away with a prize of $112,818, after a 3-way deal had been struck between Joshua Howard, perlini1 and himself. Other notable finishes were those of Kevin Boudreau (who busted in 24h for $2,840) and Jens Voertman, who finished 33rd.

The Sunday Brawl yielded another 6-figure winner. Player “tong26” took the lion’s share of a $496,600 prize-pool, pocketing $101,261. 2,483 players registered for the event, coughing up a $256 buy-in each.
Tong26 disposed of Jeremy Menard heads-up. Menard won $65,551.
Other notable finishes in the event were those of Matt Shpesky (12th) and Joel Shulruf (29th). Other major weekend tourneys were Ultimate Bet’s $200,000 Gtd. and Bodog’s $100,000 Gtd.
