bwin-300x250_poker_bonus.gif Can you outplay the joker? – it sounds like quite the challenge, but that’s exactly what Bwin Poker is daring you to do with their new Sit n’ Go format tournaments.

The newest addition to the Bwin Poker tournament options is sure to get your pulses beating – it’s taking a very simple common poker idea and twisting it onto its head. The Joker sit n’ go tournaments are going to blow your mind, and make you rethink everything you ever knew about poker especially your strategy.

The Joker sit n’ go tournaments are already up and running at Bwin Poker, and at a first glance they will look like any other sit n’ go tournament; however on closer inspection you will discover something very unusual about them. The first thing to be noted is the interesting payout structure – just 3 winners, and the second is who those winners are. As opposed to regular sit & go tournaments where the better you do in the tournament the higher your payout is, The Joker has a little something up his sleeve. The first place payout in the Joker tournaments is a very handsome 50%; you would expect the next payout to go to the first runner up – not so. The second prize payout goes to the finisher in 5th place, and the third prize payout goes to the player in 9th place. If that’s not turning things on their heads, then who knows what is!

The Joker hasn’t stopped there though. If you partake in a Joker sit n’ go tournament but do not finish in one of the prize positions you will receive a ticket to one of the “I lost the Joker” freeroll. These poker freeroll tournaments take place each Saturday at 18.OO CET until May 5th and are worth $500.

In order to find the Joker sit n’ go tournaments simply go the Sit & Go tournaments in the Bwin Poker menu and look for The Joker in the menu.  The tournaments are 10 seat No Limit Hold’em, have starting chips of 1,500 and can be found with buy-ins of $1 + 0.10, $5 + 0.50, $10 + 1, and $20 + 2.
