In the wake of online poker’s “Black Friday”, both top industry players, Full Tilt Poker and PokerStars were briefly gone, raising fears among players that they would never be able to recover the monies they had left in their accounts. Their domain names seized by the US government, the sites didn’t really have a choice but to use one of the alternative domain names they had probably previously secured.
PokerStars have made the move to pokerstars.eu and sought to reassure their players (those outside the US) that for them, the operation would continue to function normally, without any sort of disruptions and that they would indeed be able to cash out, to deposit and to play real money games.
Not only did the site look to bounce back by simply re-appearing online, unlike
Full Tilt Poker which has pulled the plug on some of its much-hyped promotions, PokerStars looked to get those back online as well.

poker promotions and it will take place as planned. The current player numbers at PokerStars have indeed remained impressive, and after the initial scare, players are now contemplating ways to boost their bankrolls for the Spring Championship of Online Poker.
These players will be pleased to learn that the perfect opportunity to re-deposit has just emerged: all reloads will be rewarded with a 50% bonus, up to a maximum of $200 (which means that in order to make the most of it you should make a $400 deposit).
How do players get their hands on this reload bonus? Simple: all they need to do is to make a redeposit until May 8 to qualify for the deal.
In order to release a $100 bonus, players will have to generate 2,000 VIP points. They have until May 31 to fulfill the redemption requirements.
