Following the general trend of making instant browser-based play available to customers, PokerTime has set up its own instant play feature. The Java based instant play client can be loaded by clicking on the ‘Instant Play’ button in the upper right corner of their homepage. If you’re at a computer running a non-Windows operating system, this extra feature will come in more than handy.

Once you’re all set, the room can be reloaded in the same window. It takes only a few seconds to load the room, even on a relatively slow connection.

You are taken to a lobby which looks exactly like the one which belongs to the downloadable version. Tables look exactly the same as well. All the statistics offered by the downloadable version are available in the Instant Play one as well.
You’ll be able to customize your felt and floor color, adjust your sound volume, etc. Account registration is possible through the instant play software as well and it works just like in the downloadable version.

Regardless of what operating system you’re using, PokerTime’s instant play feature makes it possible for you to enjoy a largely similar game experience to those who use Windows. You’ll also be able to play poker on computers which – for whatever reason – do not allow you to download anything.
