The Online Poker Weekend – Nothing out of the Ordinary

This weekend was business as usual in the various online poker majors offered by the top online poker rooms. Things mostly stayed on the usual track in the sense that the biggest winner of the weekend was yet again the winner of PokerStars’ Sunday Million. A player known as Tonaldinho11 took home the top prize, worth a staggering $234.1k. He made no deals with anyone, so it’s safe to say he took down the full share of the winner indeed.
A total of 7,805 players showed up for the Sunday Million, creating a prize-pool of $1,561,000. The winner bested “Seider85” heads-up. The share of the runner-up was $171.7k. Another player finished in 6-figures: 3rd place man le_marc08, who took home $117k for his efforts.
The highest finishing “name” player in the event was Andre Akkari, who was rewarded with $46.8k for his 6th place. Joe Cada managed a relatively deep run too: he finished 13th for $6.2k.

The Sunday Warm-Up saw 3,689 players belly up to the tables, creating a prize-pool of $737.8k. This event saw plenty of deal-making at its top: the top 4 finishers reached an agreement, which left eventual winner MetalHelmet” with a $99k haul. Thanks to the deal, nobody took home a 6-figure prize from this poker tournament.
The highest finishing “name” player in this one was Rui Ferreira, whose 6th place finish was worth $23.9k.
Ben Delaney managed a top-10 finish as well: he took home $5.9k for his 9th place.

At Full Tilt Poker, the $500k Guarantee drew a starting field of 1,943 players. The resulting prize-pool was a $388.6k one. The winner was a player known as Skazo4nik123, who took home the $63.6k top prize, after a 3-way deal at the top.
Yann Dion was the highest finishing “name” player.
