The European Championship of Online Poker V is looming on the horizon and to prove it, Titan Poker is beginning to run satellites for this $4,550,000 series right now.
The European Championship of Online Poker has proven to be a highlight of the poker calendar ever since its inception in December of 2007 when $2.5 million was awarded in prizes. As the fifth WCOOP approaches the event has become better known and the prizes have nearly doubled!
The WCOOP V will be running from November 23rd to December 6th and will consist of 14 events spanning the scope of poker interests, from Pot Limit Omaha to High Stake Hold'em. The biggest tournament is of course the $1,500,000 Guaranteed ECOOP NL Hold'em that will be held on Sunday December 6th with a buy-in of a cool $1,500.
The excitement doesn't end there however; as of September 21st there will be a competitive satellite schedule running at Titan Poker through which players are invited to qualify for the major events at a fraction of the buy-in price. The last European Championship of Online Poker was held in May and June of this year, when the $1,500 event was won by Kaishi to the tune of $330,000.
