One of the biggest members of the iPoker network, Titan Poker is in a position to offer its players a seriously rewarding loyalty benefit: on top of their Club Titan offers, they now reward their best rakers with the Million Dollar race, a set of promotional rake races which take place from now until the end of April.

All participating players (high stakes, high volume ones as well as small-ball players) will get relatively equal chances to grab a share of the prize-pool. Of course, given that it’s a rake race we’re talking about, the more you play, the higher up on the leader board you’ll finish and therefore the more money you’ll take home. The Main Event of the Million Dollar race runs from January 12th till April 28th and offers a staggering $300.000 up for grabs. The Main Event is a player points race: the aim is to gather as many player points as possible, but since player points are directly proportional with the generated MGR, it’s safe to say it’s still the rake you generate that counts here.

Main Event leader boards can be viewed at Titan’s site. Players all the way down to 50th place get rewarded. Those who are on round-number places (like 60th, 70th etc) also get rewarded which is kind of weird as this way players contributing less rake than others will take home more money.

Besides the Main Event there will be a whole bunch of other side rake races featuring smaller prize-pools.
The January Challenge features a prize pool of $50,000, The Veteran VIP Challenge offers $25,000 and the January Weekly Race gives away $5,000.

Many of the other rake races are available on a country basis, so you probably won’t be able to take part in all of them.

About Titan Poker

Titan Poker is one of the older poker rooms which – a little while ago – was generally referred to as a ‘smaller’ room in poker room reviews. That adjective however no longer offers an accurate description of the room’s size. Nowadays it is referred to as one of the iPoker flag carriers, and since Playtech’s iPoker network is one of the most popular that title does carry some weight.
