There is nothing more exciting than a new live poker event hitting the circuit, and as such Unibet has the most exciting of news as they introduce the ECOSTT.
The ECOSTT, or European Championships of Single Table Tournaments will be running in the swanky Gala Casino in Gibraltar between November 18th and 21st and is set to be like nothing else on the poker circuit. Taking all the excitement of live poker play and combining it with the skill and speed of single table tournament play is sure to make even the most experience amongst the poker community think twice about their ability. Players will be required to play in a series of four rounds in order to be in the running for a share of the prize pool which is likely to be around €120,000. If you are a member of the online poker community who feels like you could give others a run for their money however, you might want to check out the satellites now running Unibet.
Each Saturday there will be a Unibet ECOSTT Gibraltar Weekly Final running at 19:30 GMT; this tournament can be bought into directly for €105 + €7, and will lead into the considerably more expensive Monthly Final. The ECOSTT Gibraltar Monthly Finals will run on August 29th, September 26th, and October 24th at 19.30 GMT with a buy-in of €675 + €50. There is of course a reason for the expense; each of these tournaments will result in the awarding of 16 packages to the ECOSTT. In order to get into the weekly final you also have weekly Unibet satellites, and daily satellites starting at just €4 + €0.40.
The packagers for the ECOSTT being awarded by Unibet Poker are worth approximately €4,200 and cover the main event buy-in, 2 side events, accommodation, and even €600 towards travel and spending.
