Be it build up to the November Nine, or good old win yourself a million TV shows, PokerStars will be hitting the airwaves this week, and Full Tilt Poker pros had our attention last.

Thank the heavens that the days of one media entertainment are over and today we can get our poker fix in a grand variety of ways.

This coming weekend will see the debut of the PokerStars Million Dollar Challenge; it will be getting started on 11th October at 16:00 ET on Fox. The PokerStars Million Dollar Challenge is an interesting combination of celebrity poker and the regular Joe playing it out for $1 million. The entrants get through to the show via freerolls that have been running daily at PokerStars, but not before qualifiers send PokerStars a video of themselves and PokerStars will select the final contestants. The qualifiers are set to be a colourful and interesting crowd, aiming to keep the audience on their toes and so far include a Catholic Father from South Carolina who if successful will be pledging his winnings for much needed work done on his church building.

The set up of the show is heads up play against a celebrity which if won leads to heads up play against a PokerStars Pro. There are prizes for each round won, and the player processes through $100,000 games before getting to a grand final against Daniel Negreanu for $1 million.

In other Poker TV news the WSOP coverage has been heating up on ESPN and with just 4 episodes left before the November 10th Final Table airing they are well worth tuning in for; you can find the two hour episodes on Tuesday evenings between 9 and 11 pm. Speaking of the November nine, Phil Ivey and Steven Begleiter both Full Tilt Poker members of the November Nine appeared on  ESPN's Inside Deal on October 6th where both Full Tilt Poker Pros were interviewed on various aspects of the Final Table and the build up to it.
